Digital naming right for a regional pressure system / immaterial naming right, no physical delivery.
Description
Claim the exclusive Local Naming Right for one high- or low-pressure system within a defined country/region (“Local Area”). Once assigned, your chosen first name will be published in our Airdentity outputs (map, feed, and internal records) for the lifetime of that system.
What you get
-
Exclusive Local Naming Right for one pressure system
-
Publication of the name in Airdentity outputs (e.g., map/feed)
-
A confirmation once your name is assigned and published
How assignment works
-
You purchase a naming slot.
-
Airdentity assigns the next eligible pressure system dynamically, based on availability and current meteorological conditions.
-
You don’t buy a specific system ID upfront; assignment happens when a suitable system exists.
Name rules (important)
-
Allowed: first names and simple double first names (e.g., “Anna-Lena”)
-
Not allowed: offensive terms, protected names/brands, political/extremist references, impersonation, or manipulations (homographs/hidden characters).
-
Automated checks are used. If rejected, you can submit a new name or cancel before assignment.
Local eligibility
Local Naming Rights are limited to customers with a billing address in the chosen Local Area (to keep local naming genuinely local). If eligibility cannot be confirmed, we’ll offer a refund or an upgrade to Global.
Exclusions
-
Tropical cyclones (hurricanes/typhoons) are excluded. If a named system is later officially classified and renamed under international standards, your Local Naming Right will be transferred to the next eligible system (or refunded on request before reassignment).
Delivery / completion of service
The service is completed when your name is assigned and published in Airdentity outputs. From that point, the service is fully performed.
